Your Strength Behind The Scenes.

Our Talent

At Stage and Screen Travel Services, our people are the movers and shakers behind entertainment and sports travel. Most of our team members have previously worked or studied in the film, TV, music, sport or other areas of entertainment. Our leaders are among the most experienced in the industry.

Meet some of the key members of our team!

Sue Garrett – General Manager

Sue originally started with the Flight Centre Limited group (our parent company) in 1995 as a retail consultant in Johannesburg. She went on to assume various leadership roles including Executive GM for FCL's South African and United Kingdom operations. After a management stint in health and fitness, Sue brought her amazing energy back to the FCL fold in March 2010, as Stage and Screen's General Manager.
Backstage: A sports and fitness fanatic, Sue can be forgiven for talking match tactics and scores with our clients. She's as passionate as they are!

Tiz Galipo – National Sales Manager

Tiz joined Stage and Screen as a Business Development Manager in 2007 and escalated to a national sales role within three short years. Even after more than a decade in travel, he still arrives at the office every day with a huge smile on his face! After winning the Football Federation Australia (FFA) account in 2009, the largest account in the history of Stage and Screen, it's no wonder he loves his job.
Backstage: Culture and food, Rome and New York, style and fashion...Tiz loves it all. And he loves working at Fox Studios among the stars, even if he's lost for words when eating lunch next to Nicole and Keith.

Nathaniel White – National Account Manager

Nat has more than 10 years' experience in the travel and sporting industries. This includes more than six years with Stage, where he's been around our corridors as a Travel Manager, Team Leader and Account Manager. Nat currently looks after big name clients like the Seven Network and Football Federation of Australia. Other highlights of his Stage career include working as an onsite Travel Manager for the inaugural Good Vibrations music festival.
Backstage: Nat – by his own admission - is "tragically" a devotee of Cardiff City Football Club and a founding member of Bluebirds Downunder (the Australian branch of Cardiff's supporters' club). His passion even landed him on the SBS coverage of the 2008 FA cup final.

Kuy Thurman - National Operations Manager

As national operations manager Kuy holds the main leadership gig here at Stage, overseeing staff development, procedures, supplier and client relations and business growth. Considering he started his travel career on 12 September 2001 - the day after the World Trade Centre attacks and the same week Ansett Airlines collapsed - we feel lucky to have him! Despite his baptism of fire, Kuy went on to single-handedly manage travel for the trifecta of V Festivals from 07 to 09 and the 2009 Pink tour - Australia's largest and longest tour. He has quickly worked his way up the ranks to his current role and has a great understanding and passion for the industry.
Backstage: After reaching the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro, Kuy still found enough breath to propose to his wife. Now that's love.

Paul Fortuna - Financial Controller

Stage's financial controller Paul Fortuna can rock out on the dance floor just as well as he can crunch numbers. As Stage's number one bean counter Paul brings loads of experience to his new gig at Stage, having held various financial management roles with parent company, Flight Centre Limited (FCL) and few other major institutions in Victoria and the UK. Initially joining FCL as an area accountant, it didn't take long before Paul climbed the ranks to become financial controller. His passion for travel, entertainment and his keen eye for numbers have helped carve an impressive career for Paul since he graduated from uni and gained full CPA status.
Backstage: Dancing to the Salt and Peppa song 'Push It' at conference on the Gold Coast.
