Your travel checklist
Here’s a checklist of items to get you up and away to the UK. Remember to:
- Complete the UK Passenger Arrival Form 48 hours before arrival
- Make sure your International COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate is easily accessible
- Pre-book your Day 2 COVID test for when you arrive in the UK. From 9 Jan this can be a lateral flow test (rapid antigen test) rather than a PCR test. Check what test is accepted by your airline.
- Ensure you have adequate medical insurance cover.
Returning to Australia
- Australia does not require COVID-19 tests prior to travel or on arrival for fully vaccinated passengers. Check if your airline requires a COVID-19 test result for check-in.
- Complete a Digital Passenger Declaration (DPD) online within 72 hours of your departing flight.
- Ensure you have your mask with you and your Australian International COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (ICVC) is accessible for your flight home.
