Experience Stage & Screen’s new partner, Rex

Sometimes you just need a little more flexibility – or luggage – when you’re travelling for work. Especially if you’re in the Sport and Entertainment sector. Maybe it’s an extra pair of heels to dazzle on the runway. Or lucky boots to help you win the game. At Stage & Screen, we’ve got you covered with the help of our new partner Rex Airlines.

Exclusive to Stage and Screen, Rex Airlines has created an ‘entertainment-focused’ fare especially for our entertainment and sports customers. It includes an additional piece of luggage free of charge for all those extra necessities. But that’s not all. Because we know the unexpected can happen at any time in the wondrous world of sports and entertainment, you’ll also get one ticket re-issue as well as one name change free of charge. It’s the little things that make a big difference.

And for those who’d like to keep tabs on expenses, Stage & Screen has also negotiated special SME airfares as part of our new 10-year partnership with Rex Airlines. Simply by booking through Stage and Screen, you’ll be able to access specially negotiated airfares for your regional, FIFO and inter-city domestic trips on this growing airline.

For that much-needed downtime when you’re travelling, Rex Airlines has lounges in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Canberra airports. A new lounge in Brisbane is expected to open in 2023, while another new lounge is currently under construction in the Sydney airport. This will be the carrier’s flagship lounge, which overlooks expansive views of the airport’s southern runway.

If you’re as impressed as we are with the offering of Rex Airlines, you’ll be glad to hear the airline is also putting the finishing touches on new business and leisure loyalty programs for its frequent flyers.

Flight Centre Travel Group Managing Director Graham Turner said: “We are delighted to extend our relationship with Rex Airlines and to forge a strong partnership that stretches well beyond the typical one or three-year airline-agency contract.

“Flight Centre Travel Group has worked closely with Rex Airlines since its launch as Regional Express in 2002 and will continue to do so as it evolves with the expansion of its increasingly popular full-service jet operations between major capital cities and major holiday destinations.

“Today, Rex Airlines is an innovative and forward-thinking domestic carrier, with strong product offerings for corporate and leisure travellers and an expansive regional network.”

General Manager of Sales for Rex Airlines, Ann Elliot, said the airline was excited to partner with FCTG and its brands such as Stage & Screen.

“We’re excited to partner with Stage & Screen and deliver choice and value to their customers,” Ann said. “We are proud to be supporting sports and entertainment businesses by creating greater access to both our regional and domestic networks.”

Ann said the carrier had a raft of new initiatives underway to enhance the customer experience from new lounges and airline partnerships to new loyalty programs and innovative sustainability initiatives.
