Business travel isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be. Sure, you can rack up some serious Frequent Flyer points, but you can’t always choose your travelling companions. That’s why Qantas Lounges are a welcome reprieve from the crowds.

Zone out

To make you next trip more cruisey there are over 640 Qantas Lounges globally. Apart from 35 domestic lounges stretching from Darwin to Hobart, when you go international there are 14 Qantas Lounges and 600 partner lounges to welcome you.

These soul-reviving spaces are exclusively for Qantas Frequent Flyer and oneworld members, but you can invite a guest – or you can choose to keep that quiet! Designed for the modern traveller the lounges feature all of the essentials - premium food and wine, comfortable seating, power points for charging devices, work spaces, Wi-Fi, meeting rooms and showers*.

Qantas has been on a roll in the past three years, building or refreshing nearly 30 lounges across its network. The stylish London Lounge has recently opened and next off the rank is the new Perth International Transit Lounge and an all-new upgraded Melbourne Domestic Business Lounge and Qantas Club.

London calling

Qantas has taken on the Brits at their own game, designing a member’s lounge worthy of royalty. The new Heathrow facility recently opened to reflect the game changing, non-stop Qantas services direct from Australia starting in March 2018.

With a distinctly English flavour, you can sip tea from Royal Albert cups or head to the Gin Bar for a G & T. Split over two levels the Woods Bagot design is very swish indeed.

Enjoy views of the airfield, take a shower or lose yourself in the Rockpool designed menu. Dine on quintessential British dishes, Australian favourites or dial up the kale factor with healthy brunch bowls. There’s an all-day barista pumping out lattes and a ‘Quench’ hydration station. If you really must work, business facilities including WiFi and flexible workspaces.

Go West

With the landmark Perth-London route launching at the end of March, Qantas is pulling out all stops in Perth with new digs located in a new international wing within the current domestic terminal.

This slick domestic and international passenger hub will house new food and beverage options and a large alfresco deck. Plus international passengers can slip through a streamlined customs and immigration area, complete with duty-free store.

Eligible passengers in transit can cool their heels in a new International Transit Lounge which includes a wellness facility, shower suites plus a patio where you can catch some rays to reset your body clock and enjoy a Neil Perry designed BBQ menu.
